Hoffmann’s House is located at the half way point of the ancient road connecting Buda with Esztergom and Visegrad in Pilisszentkereszt, what is full of historical and religious monuments. The House is far from the busy village center in a still forrest. Having arrived guests will be fullfilled with new energies in a moment through the inspirating air. Mrs. Hoffmann speaks fluenty German and a little bit English. Max 10 pers.

All the doble rooms fitted with bathroom (WC and shower), there is a swimming pool in the House too, bar inthe cellar. In the large (3500 sqm) garden there is a lake (450 sqm), there is a fishing facility, guests may do bbqs ormeals on open fire. Parking is possible in the courtyard. Hunting is available in the neighbourhood (it should announced in advance), there are many types of wild animals over there.Just behind the court walls in the large forrest there are touristic pathes leading e.g. to Dobogokő – what is upon the ezotheric minds, the heart-chakra of the Earth. There are caves in a few miles, a lot of herbs are available there.

Thanks to the central location our guests should reach Budapest(22 kms), Szentendre (15 kms), Esztergom (18 kms) and Visegrad (25 kms) easily.

What to see: The first hungarian cistercitian closter’s ruins (A.D.1246). Ruins of the queen Gertrude’s thomb (murdered in 1213) Catholic church of baroque style, built by the paulian fraternity in 1760. Rocks of the Robber’s cave, cliffs of the Iron gate, Abbey’s garden, etc.

In the winter season by the Hoffmann’s House there is possible to take part in the ceremony of ’killing the pig’, together with the fresh made pork dinner and making home-made pork-products (should adviced in advance).
Don’t be alone at Christmas time, come and see us. Spend a good week or so here till New Year’s Eve in the marvellous athmosphere. Mrs Hoffmann makes rich breakfast an in case of neccessity dinner as well.

In the village there are two good restaurants, groceries, pastry shop, medical services, dentist, pharmacy, post office. There is horse riding possibility, in the winter you can ride in a one horse open sleigh. In Dobogókő there is a downhill slope and you may ski cross country as well.
